First held in 2021, The International One-Health Conference is a gathering of prominent experts from Academic, Policy Making, and Regulatory backgrounds in the domains of health and environmental, to promote the scientific debate of One-Health. In the last edition (Catania 2022), the conference has received more than 40 scientific contributions , involving at least 270 authors from all over the world, and high level keynotes (from e.g.: WHO , The Lancet Countdown , ISGlobal , ICLEI , CNR ) A key aim of the conference has always been to foster the adoption of key messages and to translate the results into actionable policies , producing Position Papers by the Scientific Committee, which have previously been received at Ministerial level and in relevant international venues like UNFCCC COP26 and COP27 .
